Hrant Hovhannisyan is a seasoned scientist and entrepreneur. He earned his PhD in Biomedicine from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain), specializing in bioinformatics and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis. Driven by both scientific rigor and entrepreneurial vision, he serves as a driving force behind SoftOmics.

Toni Gabaldón, PhD

CSO and Co-founder

Toni Gabaldón is a pioneering figure in genomics. With a PhD from Radboud University (Nijmegen, Netherlands), he has been at the forefront of genomic research for two decades, authoring more than 300 publications in leading journals such as Science, Nature, and Genome Biology.

Arnau Albert is a versatile technology expert with over five years of software engineering experience. A graduate of the Provençana Institute in Barcelona, he covers the entire software stack at SoftOmics—from web development and cloud DevOps to advanced bioinformatics software engineering.
